Chuck Legoe
Owner/Technician/Service Advisor
I was born and raised here in Bellingham. I have been interested in cars and mechanical things for as long as I can remember, and much of my childhood was spent reading car magazines, drawing pictures and building scale models. I began my automotive career at age 13, pumping gas, servicing vehicles and changing/repairing tires at my father's service station.
Over the years, my knowledge and abilities have grown. I acquired significant on the job experience working at a store facility, a dealership, and several independent shops. Additionally, I have attended many professional seminars and classes, and worked with and for the best in the business. I have been an ASE Master Certified Technician with an Advanced L1 Diagnostics certificate for many years now.
I look forward to working for you

I, too, was born in Seattle and began my interest in cars at a young age when my father taught me the basics of auto repair on his 1973 Triumph TR6 and the family 1967 Plymouth Valiant Stationwagon. I have owned a '57 Cadillac Coupe Deville, '63 Impala Wagon, '66 Chev 3/4 ton pick-up, and a '71 Monte Carlo. I continued my interest in cars all the way through high school where I took auto shop and worked at a locally owned repair shop in Seattle. After I graduated high school, I went to Shoreline Community College, earned my associates degree and then attended and graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelors of Arts in Music in 1998. I was a full time musician until I went to work for Chuck in 2001. I am ASE certified as a Service Consultant. I still play drums quite often with various bands in Bellingham, Seattle and the region, and have two beautiful daughters (Izzy and Sophie). I am here to assist you in whatever auto repair questions or concerns you have. Tom
Mary Chorvat
Bookkeeper
I have been the bookkeeper for Chuck's Midtown Motors since 2001. I was born in Seoul, Korea. I came to live in the States at the age of ten and have been, for the most part, a resident of Bellingham ever since. I thoroughly enjoy working with the crew at Chuck's and hope to have the privilege to work with them for many more years to come.
Hope to see you soon,
